The majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.
This is the point where we need to start paying more attention to how our actions and habits relate to one another. Because we are on autopilot for so long we don’t even know we are on autopilot. The difference between a deer and a bear? Bears don’t have to hunt. Why? Because they can. Whereas the deer is constantly hunting and must make sure they have enough food and water to survive.
Basically, a deer is going through the same day-to-day routines as we do and still manages to live a very active life. The deer is also a very intelligent animal, and we all know that intelligence is a good thing. That said, the fact that the deer has this kind of intelligence does not mean that we should treat it any differently than we would treat a bear. I would be very quick to say the deer is smarter than a grizzly bear.
I think that bears, deer, and other animals are all going through the same day-to-day routines. They are all intelligent and have the same needs as us. But they all have unique needs, which are why they are all different. I think this is true of all living creatures and we should treat them as such.
