I’m sure that some of you out there are already well aware of what is in spanish. This is because I am a native Spanish speaker and have made it a point to visit Spain several times per year since I was a little girl. I love all the food and I love all the places I have been.
I will admit that I had to make a few changes to my usual spanish diet in order to better handle my food allergies and other autoimmune disorders. My usual routine consisted of a huge portion of tortilla chips, a full-on cheese plate, a large plate of hummus, some guacamole and tomato slices, and a small bowl of cheese and tomatoes.
I usually get the same basic food, but I always make sure I try new things. I’ve made a point of trying out new ways to eat and I try new recipes as well. I’ve learned that there isn’t one standard way to eat. The Spanish have so much variety, so if you’re not sure what to do, just try something new.
