How many times have we heard a conversation gone “Oh, I’m so glad they don’t know about me.” It’s an assumption that we make that doesn’t really occur to us, and it can be hard to undo. I know it’s not just you that doesn’t know about me but it is very easy for someone to say that.
As it turns out, that conversation is just one of the many interactions we might have in Deathloop. The game is about a few conversations between people in a time loop. There is no person we can change in the conversation, but we can change the events that are happening in the conversation. We can change the words that are being said and the tone of voice that is being used.
So much of playing Deathloop is about changing the conversations and events that we are using in a time loop. The main character is talking to someone in a time loop, and we have to change the conversation that the person is having. We have to change the way the conversation is being said, the tone of voice, and the events that are happening. We can never undo what we have done in this game.
I think it’s great that they are taking the time to properly integrate a new conversation system, and it’s great that I can go to a new conversation with another player and it’s like, “Oh, that’s so much better.” But the main problem is that you have to say the exact same conversation over and over again and that’s probably a lot of time that we spent not really playing the game at all.
It’s good to have new dialogue options, but it’s definitely not great, especially when it’s being done over and over again. It’s the same old story, but with new dialogue options and new mechanics. We’re a long-time fan of the game, but it’s not at all like we are used to it anymore.
I’m not trying to be a smartass, but I think you’re right, and your points are also very valid.
This is why you shouldn’t change the dialogue, because it’s never going to be the same. The only thing you need to change is the dialogue and the mechanics of it. Change it all around and your voice will sound like everyone else’s. That’s just a fact.
Its not like weve ever gotten used to it. Its a new game, and it shouldnt change anything, because that would mean that the old game would need to be tweaked to make it work again. Thats not how games work. Its exactly like re-rolling the dialogue. You dont need to change anything in the dialogue, but you can change the mechanics of it.
As an example, let’s say you wanna make your girlfriend say “I’m sorry”. I would make her say “I’m sorry”. I would say something like “you know how you always think it doesnt matter that im leaving you and then I just change my mind? Well, that’s why! I would have just said ‘I’m sorry”.
The problem is that if you’re writing dialogue, you can only go so far with it. You can’t get there from the beginning and then go back and change everything. That would be like making your girlfriend say something like, “I’m so sorry that I lied to you over the weekend. I’m so sorry I thought you meant to give me a call.” That’s just a mistake you can’t fix, you either try to fix it or it doesn’t matter.
