It is common knowledge that the Lord forgives and accepts all people. He has not given us a list of conditions that will make up for all of our shortcomings. There are no conditions that would make up for the fact that we are human and fallible. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. When we sin, we have the opportunity to turn to the God of our salvation and turn our focus towards his righteousness and forgiveness.
It is time to turn again to God. It is the time to turn again to the God of redemption. We need to turn back to God, repent, turn to Jesus, and turn back to the God of forgiveness and grace.
What I find so amazing about this video is how it takes the focus from the sin and turns it into the question of God’s righteousness. You have to ask if Jesus’ righteousness is the same as your own. You have to ask if the righteousness God gives us can be equated with the sin we commit.
In fact, the word “justification” is the Greek word for “sanctification.” The point of Jesus’ preaching is that God’s righteousness cannot be separated from our own sins. By the same token, God’s mercy can never be separated from our own sins. Our sins are the foundation of God’s mercy. What Jesus does is turn all of this on its head. He doesn’t judge us, he doesn’t condemn us. He turns all of this on its head.
It’s not that God forgives our sins but that he allows us to forgive ourselves. He allows us to forgive our own sins. Through Jesus Christ, it’s made a little more explicit. Jesus calls himself the Son of God, a title that comes from the Greek word for ‘Son’. The Father is called by the name ‘Son’.
the New Testament goes out of its way to make Jesus the Son of God, but the Old Testament has always portrayed Jesus as the Son of man. This is because, in our first century understanding of the world, the Son of man was the Son of God. The Father is referred to as “the Father of heaven,” which means that the Son of man was the Son of God.
The most important point to note is that throughout the Old Testament, Jesus’ relationships with his Father and the Father of heaven are always the same. There are also always two different kinds of relationships that Jesus has with his Father. The first is in a relationship of communion with the Father. The Son, as the Son of God, is the Son of man, the Son of God, the Son of man. The Father of heaven is the Father of heaven, the Father of heaven.
As the Son of man, Jesus is the Son of God. This means that there is always a certain amount of intimacy between Jesus and his Father. He is always the Son of God. Jesus is fully God and fully man. So if the Father of heaven does not forgive adultery, Jesus will still be the Son of man. The Son of man will still be the Son of heaven. In fact, we have the most extensive discussions of this in the Gospel of John.
When Jesus says there is a way to reconcile things between heaven and earth, he is saying that he has a way to reconcile his relationship with heaven and his relationship with earth. Jesus will reconcile his relationship with heaven with his relationship with earth. Jesus will reconcile his relationship with heaven with his relationship with earth. Jesus will reconcile his relationship with heaven with his relationship with earth. Jesus will reconcile his relationship with heaven with his relationship with earth.
After he was killed, heaven and earth were no longer seen as two separate entities, but as one. After that point, Jesus had to reconcile his relationship with heaven with his relationship with earth. Now that he is on earth, Jesus is able to reconcile his relationship with heaven, his relationship with earth, and his relationship with heaven and earth. This has given way for a time when Jesus can be viewed as an avatar of heaven and a figure of earth.
