My brain is a complicated thing. You might even think of it as a “mind, body, and soul” thing. But, a lot of times my brain’s a mess. I find it very hard to focus on just one thing and not have a lot of distractions. So, when I’m trying to focus on one thing, I like to have an activity chart to guide me.
An activity chart is a visual representation of the relationship between various aspects of your life. They let you see your goals, activities, and tasks, and you might use them to help you determine your priorities, where you’re spending your time, and what you can do to improve the state of your life.
I think activity charts are great because they also help you see your relationships with people. I can easily see how my habits and patterns affect how I interact with other people, and how my relationships with people affect my relationships with myself. The activity charts I find myself using with my girlfriends and my boyfriends are a little more complicated, but I think they help me sort my emotions in a way that helps me focus on what I need to do.

The most common charts I see are those where I can see how I interact with certain activities on a given day. For example, I’m at work and I’m supposed to be doing a presentation to a client, so I have to do a presentation on the spot.
That’s a great method, and I believe it is one of the most common ways to show your feelings. But it can also be very inaccurate. For example, I see on an activity chart that I worked on Wednesday that I usually have a lot of energy. On Thursday, however, I dont. I’m usually very tired or cranky.
This method tells us nothing about how your day is going, but it can be very useful for gauging how you’re doing. A more precise way of showing our feelings and our behaviors is through a relationship chart. This is a chart with many columns for each of the ways in which we can interact with the world, and each column has an icon.
Relationships can be a way to connect with other people, or they can be a way to connect with ourselves or with a specific thing. For example, a relationship chart might have a column for “I’m with you” and a column for “I’m against you.” Sometimes it’s useful to visualize the way we interact with the world and what we want from it.
Some people will say, “hey, I don’t want to be a relationship,” however, I think that if you want to be a relationship you can at least help your partner or self by helping others. In this case Im and you are an extension of each other.

In this visual relationship chart Im and you both have two squares and a diagonal line. The squares represent your inner world. These squares are self-aware, conscious of their place in the world. The diagonal line represents things that bring you joy, that you are happy to participate in. The diagonal line is your connection to another person, your partner.
